The 2000 Sharpshooter Cheerleaders and 2000 Matadors Cheerleaders were never officially known as the San Antonio Roses but the squads were directed by Cynthia Trinidad and eventually became the format for the San Antonio Roses.  The 2000 Sharpshooter Cheerleaders performed for the UPFL San Antonio Stampede Football Organization.  The 2000 Matadors Cheerleaders performed for the SFL San Antonio Matadors Football Organization.
