The San Antonio Roses and Rosebuds participated in the 30th annual Star Spangled Festival at Lackland Air Force Base on July 4, 2008. They met with troops, signed autographs, and performed a variety show on stage. The Roses were scheduled to perform a half-hour show including seven dance routines and solo singing performances by Samantha and Ann-Marie. Unfortunately due to lightning concerns the show was cut short when everyone was asked to move indoors for their safety. The Roses still had a great time at the event and look forward to next year. |
