The San Antonio Roses took part in multiple events at the 2008 NCAA Final Four in San Antonio. On Saturday, April 5, 2008 members of the Roses attended and performed at the Fan Experience in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. The event was held for the Final Four fans before the Saturday games. The ladies performed on a basketball court and signed squad photos for all attending.
On Sunday, April 6, 2008 members of the Roses attended the Dome Dribble to Hoop City event at the Alamodome where over 4000 participants ages 18 and under dribbled their free basketball to Hoop City for a final celebration. The ladies met with members of the media and posed for photos with Dome Dribble participants.

Former members of the San Antonio Roses, Valerie Garza and Tonya Tomnbay, and members of the Belles Performance Team from Colorado were selected to appear on the cover of "Successful Semi Pro Spirit Teams".
The book features articles by current semi pro team owners and cheer directors including Cynthia Trinidad, Director of the San Antonio Roses.

The San Antonio Roses participated in the 2008 Flambeau Parade on April 26, 2008. The Roses rode on a 1929 Ford Model A Truck from the Texas Transportation Museum.

Priscilla Garcia, a member of the 2006 San Antonio Roses, was crowned Miss San Antonio 2008 in the Miss America system! She will represent San Antonio as she competes for the title of Miss Texas 2008 this July in Fort Worth.

Included in the trio are 2007 Roses members - Nicole Pierce and Stacie Harris and 2006 Roses member - Katrice Simmons.

Roses Entertainment produced the 2008 U.S. Army All-American Bowl SpiritFest where 400 high school cheerleaders and dance team members united to form the 2008 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Spirit Squad. The participants performed with the San Antonio Roses in the Alamodome on January 5, 20008 during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

The San Antonio Roses are proud to announce the debut of their Rosebuds (young ladies ages 5-12). The Rosebuds are trained in basic dance, cheer, and performance skills.
They meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and will accompany San Antonio Roses on some upcoming events and serve as a spirit squad at future games.
